Elementary

Elementary School Teacher - The elementary teacher provides support to the instructional process by serving as the classroom leader with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas. The person in this position develops lesson plans and delivers group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborates with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues. He/She monitors and evaluates student academic outcomes as well as student social and emotional learning outcomes. Middle School

Middle School Teacher - The middle school teacher provides leadership in an educational environment that encourages and nurtures learning for all students. He/She provides supervision to students in a variety of school related settings. He/She monitors and evaluates student academic outcomes as well as social and emotional learning outcomes. He/She develops, selects or modifies lessons plans to ensure all student needs are met. He/She maintains appropriate records and follows all policies and procedures of NCDPI and IDYL. Exceptional Children/ESL

EC & ESL Teachers - We are seeking innovative and highly qualified EC & ESL teachers to join our faculty at The Institute for the Development of Young Leaders for our EC Department and ESL Department.

These positions will involve teaching students the NC Common Core curriculum. Our desire is that the applicant is a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and to excel in school.
